On your device
Essential cookies are used for seller login sessions and limited functions such as preventing repeated profile-view counts. These support features you request and keep the site working.
Favourites and recently viewed adverts are stored locally in your browser. They are not attached to a seller account and can be removed by clearing them on the relevant page or clearing browser data.
Used Dudley uses Google AdSense. Google may use cookies or similar technology to serve, measure and personalise adverts where consent is required. Available privacy choices can be managed through Google’s consent controls when presented.
Public and private areas
Do not publish sensitive information in adverts, reviews, public profiles or community posts.
Keeping data
Information is kept for as long as it is needed to provide the relevant feature, resolve disputes, protect the marketplace or meet legal obligations. Adverts and uploaded advert images are removed when the advert is permanently deleted. Support messages remain in the admin inbox until deleted.
Passwords are stored as hashes rather than readable passwords. Access to private administration features is limited to authorised seller accounts with the Admin role. No internet service can promise perfect security, so users should also protect their password and avoid sharing sensitive details.
Your choices
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object to certain uses of your personal information.
