This page explains what information Used Dudley may store while the site runs.

Information sellers provide

  • Adverts may include title, description, price, phone number, category, location and uploaded images.
  • Seller accounts store display name, email, password hash, optional phone number, profile image, banner and bio.
  • Status posts, messages and reviews are stored so the marketplace features can work.

Local browser storage

  • Favourites and recently viewed adverts are saved in your browser storage.
  • This data stays on your device unless you clear it or use the clear buttons.
  • The site uses this to make browsing easier.

Security notes

  • Passwords are stored as hashed passwords, not plain text.
  • Do not put sensitive personal information into advert descriptions, messages, reviews or status posts.
  • Admins can moderate content and manage seller accounts to protect the marketplace.

Data removal

  • Deleting adverts removes the advert and uploaded advert images.
  • Deleting a seller account removes that account and related owned content where supported.
  • For launch, add your real contact method here so users can request help or removal.
